How it all started
Pretty Good Outfitters was born from hundreds of days of experience on the water floating and fishing with wonderful folks.
PGO is built on the belief that the outdoors offer the world's best classroom and greatest equalizer: a place to find and celebrate yourself, a place to face and meet challenges, and a place to have fun!

Hey I''m Micah, nice to meet you!
Howdy! I call Helena, Montana home with my lovely partner and our adventurous son. When I'm not on the river, I spend my time writing, advocating for our public lands and waters, and enjoying a good beer with friends.
I came to guiding by way of teaching, and I think this blend of skills makes PGO an excellent fit for those looking for an inclusive, educational, and fun experience.
